There will be no Coast and Cove 2020 – Watch this space for when life gets back to normal.
The Coast and Cove Challenge is an annual event, organised by the Lions Club of Looe, where you can test yourself to walk the Cornish coastline to your limits and, at the same time, generate much needed funds, through personal sponsorship, for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
The Coast and Cove team have created an environment with challenge, fun and safety at its core for everyone of any fitness level to push themselves to whatever limit they set.
With attended checkpoints along the route we keep a watchful eye on where you are, how fast you are walking and give you the option of stopping early, at your goal or, if everything is going well, to extend your planned route to push yourself further. Wherever, or whenever, you decide it is time to stop we will pick you up and return you to base, your car or camp site.
With a lead walker and a back marker, marshalled checkpoints and the support of St John Ambulance we will look after you and make sure that you complete your challenge tired, but, happy and safe.
Mixed ability teams are welcomed and the challenge can be adapted to ensure no one is left walking by themselves, and if walking is a bit too slow for you, try the Half Marathon…….New for 2019 on Sunday 16th.
Put simply, sign up to the Coast and Cove Challenge, a real test where everyone can push themselves to their limits and be a part of a valuable team effort in support of the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
